Coach Type

For all Alpine Coaches in various categories (e.g ADC’s etc)

Only Coaches can apply for an IVSI licence.

Instructor Level

This indicates whether you are

CI/Level 1 (Club Instructor)

ASSI/Level 2 (Artificial Slope Ski Instructor)

Snr CI (Senior Club Instructor)

L (Trainee ASSI – for those who have gone over their

revalidation date and need to attend for refresher)

T/Level 1 (Candidate Club Instructor – for those who are still

training under supervision and do not hold a

licence)

Nordic Level

Will indicate what category you are registered in.

ASCL

This is the Alpine Ski Course Leader, which is the award that allows teachers to lead their school children on snow.

ASCL Tutor

Alpine Ski Course Leader Tutor – for those tutors who are able to take the ASCL Courses which is the 6 days on snow

SCO Tutor

Snowsport Course Organiser Tutor – for those tutors who are able to take the 1 day SCO Course.

APC Level

Alpine Performance Coach – will indicate whether you are at Level 1, 2 or 3

CI Level 1

Will say YES or NO if you are a Club Instructor and hold a licence.

ASSI

Will say YES or NO if you are an ASSI and hold a licence.

Tutor Type

Will indicate whether you are a CI Tutor, ASSI Tutor or Senior Tutor.

Snowboard

This category will indicate YES if you are registered as an Artificial Snowboard Instructor and hold a licence.
