NJR GS - FIS race 15th Feb 2010

We kick start day 2 with yet again clear blue skies - fingers crossed this is going to continue all week.

Racers gather at the top for the first face of the day, the JNR Giant Slalom, FIS race. The course started off running really well and fast, as the morning went on the ruts got deeper, providing a good challenge.

85 females and 140 males battle it out for that top spot, to days honours go to...

The afternoon cleaned up the Giant Slalom and the rolled onto the Mini Giant Slalom. With 40 Mini’s in place to ready to run the gauntlet, spirits where hi. Tim was still smiling and the racers were ready to go.

A huge congratulations to all racers, and a big thank you yet again to all those involved in helping make the day run so smoothly. Despite the team slowly getting smaller with an outbreak of sickness " be strong people!!
