RACE ENTRY ELIGIBILITY In 2007 Snowsport England will be responsible for organising the English Alpine Championships, the All England Championships, and the following three categories of race.

GRAND PRIX RACES The aim is to provide an opportunity for the highest ranking racers to compete with their peers, and to provide competitions from which a ranking list in age and gender categories can be derived. Entry is determined by selecting the racers with the lowest seed points first. For 2007 there will be an entry cut-off of 250 seed points for all racers. There are five Grand Prix races, the best three results for each racer will count for ranking points. Racers born 1996 and earlier are eligible for Grand Prix Races.

CLUB NATIONAL RACES The aim is to provide races which will give performers with no seed points, or high seed points, the opportunity to improve. Entry is determined by selecting racers with the highest or no seed points first. Racers born 1996 and earlier are eligible for Club National races.

MINIS RACES These will be held with each of the Club National Races. The aim is to provide an introduction to racing within the formal setting. Racers born between 1997 and 2000 are eligible for Minis races. All Snowsport England organised races will be held on slopes which have been homologated by the Snowsport England Alpine Committee for the standard of race scheduled. Any club wishing to hold training courses for officials should contact the Snowsport England office for assistance
