Snowsport Performer Membership

For all competitive events performers must be a member of Snowsport England.

  
Snowsport England Coaching Scheme Membership  

For all courses candidates must be a member of the Snowsport England Coaching Scheme (or the equivalent Snowsport Scotland, Snowsport Wales or Northern Ireland Ski Council scheme).

Individual Membership

Individual membership is open to anyone, not covered above, who has an interest in skiing and who wishes to take advantage of the benefits of membership of Snowsport England. Please note that this NOT for people wishing to become Performers, Instructors etc.

Club Membership

A Ski Club or Snowboard Club may affiliate to Snowsport England by having its constitution approved by the Snowsport England Board and paying an annual per-capita subscription. All individual members of Ski Clubs affiliated to Snowsport England are automatic.

• World-wide Civil Liability insurance cover for all clubs and members
• Office bearers and committee members of affiliated Clubs are also automatically covered for Civil Liability arising from club activities click here for a copy of the Insurance Policy
• Group discounts for member clubs on flights and accomodation with Crystal
• Quarterly Piste Magazine Discounts on Elan Skis Snowsport England Coaching Scheme courses
• Eligibility to participate in Club and National competitions

Refund Policy

This refund policy complies with the EU Distance Selling Directive (2000) and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection Regulations (2000) that relate to distance selling. The law came into force in the year 2000 and applies to all UK based transactions where the consumer doesn’t meet the vendor. These regulations do not govern contracts between businesses.

Consumer Rights

If you pay for a membership with Snowsport England you have, in accordance with the above law, a seven-day cooling off period - during which you have the right to cancel your membership and receive a refund. If you do decide to cancel within the seven days, we will refund your payment within 30 days of your cancellation.

Refund Conditions

No refund will be given if Snowsport England believes that an individual has benefited in any way from being a member of Snowsport England; e.g. by entering or competing in a Snowsport England event, by having access to coaching materials or by obtaining member discounts.

How to cancel within seven days of purchase

Should you wish to cancel your subscription within the seven-day cooling off period, please e-mail us at info@snowsportengland.org.uk or write to us at Snowsport England, SportPark,3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough, LE11 3QF.

If you have been issued an Instructor/Coaching card must be returned to Snowsport England before a refund will be given.
