Job Description: Assistant Coach, England Alpine Ski Team
Responsible to: The Board of Snowsport England through the Head Coach and the Chairman of the (ASMC) Alpine Squad Management Committee (line manager) and the Alpine Skiing Committee (ASC).
Main Objectives: To coach members of the England Alpine Ski Team. Assist the Head coach in the running of the team programme.
Salary Daily rate depending on experience and
Contracted for approximately 80 – 90 days p/season (mainly during school Holidays)
Location Although the organisation is based in Halesowen the delivery of the programme will be dependent on the location of the camps.
Hours: On Camp hours reflect the responsibilities of the job
Person Specification
We would ask applicants to present their details against our essential and desirable criteria.
Essential
- Experience of FIS racing
- Minimum of APC 1, with a view to getting APC 2 (or equivalent)
- Full driving Licence
- Fluent in English
- Flexible working pattern
- Working Knowledge of fitness programmes
Desirable
- Experience of driving a minibus
- A second language
- Competed at national team level
- Experience of writing and delivering fitness programmes
