Snowsport England Employ new Operations and Development Manager
Snowsport England are pleased to announce that Tim Fawke has been appointed as Head of Operations and Development of Snowsport England as of the 1st October 2007.
Tim will be starting in his new post on the 1st October, but will retain the title of Head Coach of the England Alpine Team until the end of April 2008. He will continue to be involved with the work and development of the Team and will be attending the camps and races as set out in the Team programme. Mike Barker will take on the role of Assistant Head Coach with an increased number of days to help with the management and administration of the programme.
On hearing of his new role Tim said” I am very excited by my appointment and am looking forward to the challenge of developing Snowsports in England. I already know a lot of people in the industry but I am sure there are many more for me to meet. My main focus initially will be getting the new UK Snowsports Coaching Award up and running by May 2008 as well as managing the day to day issues as well.
