Nordic Key Committee

The Nordic Key Committee is made up from representatives of the clubs and is the link between the members and the governing body, Snowsport England.  This allows for a two way process feeding ideas and strategy from the Board down to the members and back again. 

These are some of its activities:

• The formulation of policy
• Strategic development
• The organisation and the administration of the sports of Cross Country, Ski Jumping & Telemark skiing
• Organising events, home and abroad both for 'On snow' and on artificial surfaces in Cross Country, Telemark and Ski Jumping
• Administering both the Cross Country and the Telemark Coaching Awards Schemes.
• Administering the Proficiency Awards Scheme
• Organising racing events in consultation with the other Home Nation Governing Bodies
• Communication of information on Cross Country, Ski Jumping & Telemark to registered performers and member clubs
• Liaison with internal and external organisations in matters of Cross Country, Ski Jumping & Telemark.
