Hot off the press I can let you know that the Northern Telemark Festival will be held at Xscape Castleford on Saturday 27th September from 12.00 - 20.00hrs. There is also plenty of entertaInment for those who want to party on into the night after skiing as it coincides with the Hacienda Club Tour.. for party lovers too.

The day itself will be packed full of freeheel skiing events including;

SSE Coaching

Freestyle Coaching - with ramps, rookie boxes and rails out during the day

Avalanche safety presentation and avalanche beacon familiarisation session

Telemark Skiing Gear - bring and buy!!!

The slope itself for those who haven't visited Xscape, Castleford for a while, has recently been decorated with trees which give a GREAT gladed feel to the slopes too.

All this for ONLY 65GBP.

Equipment hire for the day will of course be available from www.telemark-skiing.co.uk BUT must be booked and paid for in advance.

For those of you completely new to telemark skiing - a taster session includuing the hire of equipment will run from 10.00 - 11.30hrs - the price for this session will be 25GBP, with a 10GBP discount offered to those who subsequently book onto the main Northern Telemark Event.
