Race Organisation & Technical Panel and the Seeding & Technical Panel
The ROTP and STP act as sources of advice to the Alpine Racing Committee on race organisation ,seeding and technical matters. STP oversees the administration of the Snowsport England seeding system and co-ordinates the provision of Technical Delegates to races organised under the auspices of Snowsport England.
Other responsibilities of the Panels include:
- Monitoring and advising on the technical aspects of the organisation of races, in conjunction with ROTP
- Administering the training and appointment of new Technical Delegates
- Deciding in the appeals made against Jury decisions in races organised under the auspices of Snowsport England
- Administering and executing the ESC Disciplinary Regulations
- Homologating artificial slopes and advise on suitability for races
- Updating and maintaining the race manual
- Appointing and training race officials and tutors
- Appointing Chief of Championships and Race Secretaries
- Liaising with relevant bodies (e.g. the BSSF Technical Delegates Forum)~
