The Highlander Freestyle Series
28th January 2008 The Highlander” Scottish Freestyle Championships will take place at all 5 Scottish ski resorts from Saturday 23 February 2008.
Nevis Range: 2nd February (rescheduled)
The Lecht: 23rd February
Glenshee: 1st March
Nevis Range: 8th March
Cairngorm: 15th March
Glencoe: 5th April
The competitions will include Big air, Slopestyle and Skier/Boarder X. The events hope to attract male and female competitors from all over the U.K. to battle it out in the following categories:
Senior 18yrs +
Youth 16-17yrs
Junior 12-15yrs
The series will be run with an F1 style points system enabling the overall Scottish Champions to be crowned at the last event at Glencoe in April - big Prizes will be up for grabs.
