Top European Coach to run Course in London

London Region Nordic Ski Club has just had confirmation that Marco Selle will be visiting the UK & has agreed to run the course outlined below.

Improve Your Instructing and Coaching

The course is open to Snowsport England instructors and coaches, and proficient skiers considering taking Snowsport England instructor awards.

Marco Selle, the cross-country ski coach of the Fiamme Gialle (Police) team based at Moena in the Val di Fassa [Italy], will run this special course.

For the past seven years he has coached the Italian national long distance squad which has dominated the FIS Marathon Cup throughout that period. This year he has been appointed as coach to the Italian Ladies Team preparing for Olympic Winter Games 2010. Marco is one of the most highly respected coaches in Central Europe and is the 'resident coach' for the Italian magazine "Sci Fondo" and for "Nordic Sports", the largest circulation German language cross-country ski magazine. He also runs his own local TV ski programme in his home province of Trentino. 10 am - late afternoon/early evening

Cost:

LRNSC members - free* in exchange for participation as an instructor, or assisting if unqualified, on 17 September and on a further LRNSC course in 2006/07

Non LRNSC members £15 subject to being a member of a SSE club
