University and Collage Membership

We (Snowsport England) have consulted with British University of Snowsport Clubs (BUSC) and a number of University Snowsport Clubs to find out how as a National Governing Body we could support and enhance the excellent service your membership already receives from its committees and make it beneficial for you to affiliate with us. From this we are progressing work with British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and BUSC to ensure we can deliver this affiliation offer to your club and its membership. 

This membership option is open to all university and collage snowsport clubs who are based near a SSE priority site and wish to work with Snowsport England to develop, improve, grow and sustain your club in the long term.

From our consultations we have developed the below support package, which gives you an overview of what affiliating to SSE may mean to your club and its membership.

Please be award that the above is only an outline, by affiliating you will end up with a support package personal to the needs of your club. 

Attention!!!!!

We are currently offering all affiliated university and college snowsport clubs a £250 development grant to aid in the delivery of the agreed support package.  (while funding lasts)

Affiliate Now

Affiliating is simple.... and only £50 for the year (1st November - 31st October). Just contact your local Snowsport Development Officer to discus your situation personally. 

You will have to fill in the below affiliation form and send it to the Snowsport England Office along with your affiliation fee, a break down of your membership and if possible members email addresses.

NB. If your club needs 3rd party liability insurance then you will have to affiliate as a normal snowsport club. please see the club affiliation page.
