Alpine Championships 2023 DATES CONFIRMED!
We are already looking forward to seeing you all in Bormio in February 2023, whether you are competing in our FIS programme which runs from 9th to 14th February, or our programme for U10/12/14/16 which runs as usual from Sunday 12th to Friday 17th February 2023.
What, when, where?
The English Alpine Championships is Snowsport England’s premier Alpine event and is the biggest English week of winter ski racing.
Hundreds of the UK’s best skiers, along with their families, head to Bormio in Italy every year to compete – from children as young as eight right through to senior athletes.
The event will begin with an Opening Parade in the town on Saturday afternoon. Races for FIS competitors take place from Thursday 9th (before the opening parade) through to Tuesday 14th, and for Children the races run from Sunday 12th February and closed with the last race on Friday 17th.
The Championships act as a gateway for future Alpine world champions and Olympic stars – World Cup Alpine ski racer Dave Ryding, started his competitive career at the English Alpine Championships!
While in resort if you need to find out any information then please come to the race office and we will be happy to help you. The race office is just off the roundabout by the bottom of the Stelvio piste and just up from the gondola. There is a Snowsport England flag to show the way.
