The eola GBR Series returns in 2022 with a full list of indoor and outdoor races, with the first one taking place at the end of April.

The outdoor races will kick off with a double weekend at Llandudno Ski Centre on Saturday, 30th and Sunday, 31st April, with the start of the indoor races taking place the following weekend at Chill Factore on Saturday, 7th May and Sunday, 8th May.

This is the second year in which the Series will be supported by booking and management system providers eola. Following a successful first year partnership in 2021, eola remain the headline sponsors of the Series in the upcoming summer.

The eola GBR Series will bring the highest level of ski racing on UK artificial slopes during five races at outdoor facilities and five on indoor snow.

The races will feature some of the UK’s most promising skiers, giving them a chance to participate in regular ski races at exceptional standard across most age groups – from under-10 through to masters.

All events are sanctioned by the Home Nations Governing Bodies with Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland and Snowsport Wales, all hosting races meaning races will be running across the country.

Following the opening races at Llandudno and Chill Factore in Manchester, the series will visit Hillend, Braehead, The Hill in Rossendale and Pendle Ski Club.

Snowsport England CEO Tim Fawke said: “It is great to be planning a full eola GBR series and looking forward to seeing the racing across the UK. It is fantastic to have eola back as our headline sponsor for the eola GBR Series. They were a fantastic support last year for the series and attended all the events and will be back again this year.”

Callum Hemsley, CEO eola, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring another year of the eola GBR series. Working with these three fantastic organisations to provide opportunities for competition and participation around the UK is something we are incredibly proud of.

“We strive to help increase participation opportunities for people across the UK and beyond.

“Seeing so many individuals take part is amazing and we cannot wait to cheer all the competitors on at this year’s races.”
