Last week, Stephen Metheringham advised the ERSA Committee that at the end of the ERSA Season (end September), he will not be re-standing for Chair for ERSA, due to increasing career and family commitments. Stephen will continue to act as Treasurer for ERSA for one more year.

Therefore, the committee are looking for applications to fulfil the role of ERSA Chair.  ERSA will pull together a nominations and recruitment sub-group and request applications stating experience and aim / goals for how to develop ERSA.

It is time for new blood, new ideas and someone new to keep the pressure on our NHGB to promote new and innovative ideas and progression, and delegated Committees to progress the sport and engage our amazing members.

Stephen is happy to take any calls on the role to assist with a seamless transition, and as continuing as Treasurer, he will still be part of the Committee for a year to help transition.

Applications from within the ERSA region for the role to be emailed to chair@ersa.co.uk by Friday 19th August, with an aim to have Zoom chats with applicants early September with an appointment by end September.
