Snowsport England are looking for the next generation of Snowboard Cross and Ski Cross (SSBX) athletes.
SE are currently starting to offer more training opportunities domestically under the Futures Project, supported by Futures ‘Off Snow’ events. Please keep your eyes on the SE Website and Social Media platforms for more opportunities to get involved with SX & SBX under the Futures Project.
Mark Ritchie (SE Pathway Manager) states: ‘Snowsport England, having Talent and Pathways as a strategic pillar, would like to engage more with the Cross Disciplines and build accessible programmes that offer participation with the right performance development opportunities. We have created domestic and aboard programmes in Park and Pipe, and feel Cross is another discipline we want to target and help to evolve. Asking for an expression of interest will help us to make insightful and informed decisions on what the next steps would or could be.
If you are interested in trying or taking part in SSBX events, both domestically and internationally please drop Mark Ritchie (SE Pathway Manager) an email* (inserting SE SSBX in the subject box) with your name, DOB, discipline i.e. Ski X or SBX , your current level, backed up by a FIS or pen profile and Video Footage doing you your sport.

NB please note, if you are currently training on, or linked to, a GBS SSBX Programme there is no need to express an interest for the SE programmes, as we are currently aware of your involvement and profile.
