Vicci has been involved in youth sport and education for over two decades and is currently the Head of Sport at the Youth Sport Trust. In this role, she drives positive social action, addresses inequalities that exist for young people through the power of inclusive PE, school sport and physical activity and is also the strategic lead for National Governing Bodies in the Children and Young People space. Vicci is passionate about working collaboratively across the sector to ensure as many young people as possible find a sport that is inspiring, accessible and meaningful to them. Prior to this, she held several roles in sports development and business, including overall responsibility of a globally recognised health club. She is a National SEND Advocate and has been a Global Change Mentor for the Special Olympics. She also holds several governance roles within education (including one as Chair). To inspire others into board roles Vicci creates content for the Young (ish) School Governor blog and regularly contribute to other industry articles.
