The first indoor eola GBR Series races saw wins from Mikey Dunne and Declan Huppach in the men’s races and Shannon Potter and Amanda Alldridge in the women’s competition on Saturday, 17th and Sunday, 18th July.

Hosted at Chill Factore on the hottest weekend of 2021, the racers tackled 17 gates in temperatures below zero inside.

On day one, Under-21 skier Mikey Dunne clocked a combined time of 27.88 to claim the fastest result in the male category, with Shannon Potter winning the female race with a time of 29.05.

Declan Huppach from Peak Performance Snowsports finished first in the male race on the second day. He completed the race in 27.25 after an outstanding first run in just 13.00. Ski MK Race Team’s Amanda Alldridge won the female race with a time of 27.95.

Team Evolution’s Lowri Howie won both girls’ U10/12 races throughout the weekend.

Ambition Racing’s Alexander Thomas and Xavier Poynton were the fastest boys in the mini races.
