Snowsport England is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Stop.Breathe.Think, a nationally recognised service dedicated to supporting young people with their mental health.

The partnership will be launched in 2024 and will offer eligible individuals aged 8-21 invaluable access to 1-1 counselling sessions. With no wait times and the flexibility to connect from any location, they will provide essential support precisely when it’s needed most.

In this innovative collaboration, Snowsport England have funded access for ten young people to access this offer at no cost to them. This offer will be made exclusive to our Snowsport England members, who will have the opportunity to benefit from up to six counselling sessions per person facilitated by expert counsellors. Whether facing significant challenges or dealing with smaller concerns, our members can engage in confidential conversations with professionals who are dedicated to providing help and support. This is a vitally important resource for young people, particularly those training and competing abroad, to be able to access this provision quickly and confidentially.

This strategic investment in the mental health and well-being of our young participants aligns seamlessly with our commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.

To ensure widespread awareness, we will be communicating the availability of this service to all clubs, academies, and their respective Child Welfare Officers in the New Year.

Whilst we have been able to fund this provision for up to ten young people, our ambition would be to offer it to more individuals. If like us, you believe that investing in the mental health and wellbeing of the future generations is the right thing to do, and you are able to support this, we would welcome a conversation about sponsorship. To take that step and play a significant role in helping a young person in their hour of need, contact us at

Our goal is to empower every young person to access the support they need.
