The English Alpine Championships are returning to Bormio after a year off last winter (due to Covid), with the 2022 races starting tomorrow, 20th February.

In its 25th anniversary, the Championships will also mark the 13th year in the Italian ski destination.

Snowsport England’s premier Alpine event takes place as the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing wrap up.

Being hosted in Bormio, one of the next stops for the Olympic Winter Games in 2026, the Championships will be an exciting opportunity for hundreds of skiers.

The Championships will once again bring hundreds of the UK’s best skiers across all age groups together to compete in the biggest English week of winter ski racing.

The 2022 event will open tomorrow, Sunday 20th February and close with the last race on Friday 25th, with races taking place every day.

The Championships act as a gateway for future alpine world champions and Olympic stars, with World Cup Alpine Ski Racer Dave Ryding, Billy Major, Charlie Guest, Alex Tilly, Will Fenley (Moguls) and Ollie Davies (Ski Cross) all starting their competitive career at the English Alpine Championships.
