At the end of May 2023, Tim Fawke will be stepping down as CEO of Snowsport England, a role which he has held since 2009.
Tim started his Snowsport England journey as a coach for the England Alpine Squad, before taking on the role of Head Coach. In the following years, Tim moved on to managing the Snowsport England Office before taking on the role of CEO in 2009. We can safely say that Tim’s impact on the sport and the organisation has been significant and leaves the sport in a far better place now than when he started in 2004.
Tim stated “Snowsport England has been my life and passion for the last 19 years. It has been incredible to be working in the sport I have such a love and passion for. The organisation has changed dramatically from when I started in 2004 when it was based in Halesowen and had no Sport England funding. The sport is in a strong place now to deliver on its new 10-year strategy with a fantastic team of staff and some amazing volunteers.”
“On behalf of the board, I want to thank Tim for his contribution to Snowsport England and the sport and wish him well in his next adventures.” – Dominic McGonigal
Tim will be taking some time out with his family, before moving on to his next opportunity. We know that you will all join us in wishing Tim the best for the future and thank him sincerely for his significant and dedicated contributions to the sport.
