Coaching Technical Panel is responsible for oversight of coaching philosophies and development of the National Coaching Scheme. We aim for the National Coaching Scheme to be as relevant to ski centres and their instructors as it is to clubs, academies and individual coaches working with high performers, specialising and striving for personal excellence.

 

We’re looking for experienced people to join us as we develop and optimise the scheme to meet our vision of inspiring participation at every level. This might be through providing insight and expertise to the group or helping one of our sub-groups with project work. So if you have some of the following experience we’d love to hear from you:

 

  • Recent hands on experience of ski centre operation including instructor development, possibly as a head of ski school
  • Involvement in coaching young people in any disciplines at artificial ski centres
  • Involvement in coaching in the UK and abroad using the IVSI protocol (UK to snow)
  • Experience of coaching performers through to FIS level
  • Freestyle in the UK
  • Experience in Nordic disciplines
  • Experience of instructing and coaching disabled participants
  • experience or interest in organising meetings and note taking
