Applications are sought for volunteers to join our Development Working Group.

As part of our mission to inspire participation at every level, our Development Working Group is reviewing the needs of the recreational side of the sport. This includes those participants who are learning and improving at their local artificial ski centre, or engaging in regular coaching, and those going on club trips to the mountains. We’re looking people with expertise in:

  • running snowsport schools at artificial ski centres
  • coaching recreational participants
  • developing participants who go on to specialise
  • developing coaches

As we continue to develop our National Coaching Scheme with our Home Nations partners and GB Snowsport, we are consulting with a range of stakeholders including facilities and clubs to gain insights into the current and future needs of snowsport coaching. We are seeking a diverse range of input from across the industry and especially those who have knowledge of the role of a Governing Body.

Our Coaching Mission is to provide a world class National Coaching Scheme that enables participants to access and excel in the sport at every level: accompanied by accessible coach education that creates and maintains a high quality and diverse workforce serving the needs of the sport. If you share these aims and want to contribute to the future of our National Coaching Scheme.
